From an AI chat to a link

Made a page or app in an AI chat? Paste the code into Drop, or download the files and drop them, and get a live link you can share. No account.

One page: paste it

  1. In the chat, copy the code. Use the copy button on the code block or the side panel, so you get all of it.
  2. Open aft.page/drop.
  3. Press ⌘V (Mac) or Ctrl+V (Windows, Linux). On a phone, tap paste it here.

You get a link like https://your-page.aft.page. Send it to anyone; they open it in a browser, no sign-in.

Several files: drop them

If the chat made more than one file (a page, a stylesheet, images), download them, or download the project as a zip. Then drag the folder or the zip onto Drop. The main page must be called index.html.

If it's a project with a package.json that needs a build step, use the CLI in that folder instead. It builds for you:

curl -fsSL https://aft.page/install | sh
aft deploy

"That doesn't look like a web page"

Some chats give you a component (code starting with import or export default) that only runs inside the chat's preview. A browser can't open it on its own. Ask the chat for a version that can:

Give me this as one complete HTML file I can open in a browser.
Put the CSS and JavaScript inside it, and load any libraries from a CDN.

Then copy that and paste it into Drop.

Keep it and change it

A new link lasts 60 minutes. To keep it, use Claim on the result and sign in. The link stays the same, and you can rename it, make it private or invite people. See Claim & share.

Drop always makes a new link. To update one you've claimed, open it on Projects and use Upload new version, or run aft deploy again from the same folder.

Next: Claim & share. Keep the link and invite people.
